Mr. Pig I like your ideas. Now I actually am more for moving to the Periphery. I actually do have a good idea of someone from the Marian Hegemony using one of their "New" mechs the Centurion CN9-H (Primitive Engine and Armor with an LBX-10 and 4 Rocket Launcher 10s). The Periphery we can have more pirates and even some clan stragglers (while not having to worry too much about the major powers).

I would be totally up for that.

I was able to get Eden's Gaurd's contract relaunched.

Are there any other units with contracts in progress that need a nudge?

Well....you do have a personal invitation in the newly released contracts....from Denbar, of all places!

So which units are looking to relaunch?

With how few players we have, along with the difficulty of starting up new units, it may be a good idea to keep players restricted to existing units until we get back on our feet and have enough players to justify it. It would also give new players structure: Sign up, join a unit, spin off later if you'd like. We should make it as easy as possible for new players to join and get started.

I figured with who we currently have, it might be Eden's Guard, Black Talon Phoenixes, Black Wolf Rangers, and Aura Wings. It would be nice to represent each of the Great Houses. I don't want to put words in anyone's mouths, though.

The only thing is we don't have any active Clan units. Perhaps we could launch a multi-Clan unit? I'd love to see the Growling Bears back.

The Black Talon Phoenix Mercenary Brigade will be ramping back up. Not interested in anything Clan, other than kicking them out of the Inner Sphere! I do field a number of salvaged Clan designs.

Depending on discussions with the Director there is a possibility that BWR or even RL might return to active status. There is also the potential for a new unit.

Is keeping the unit number down something we'd like to do? We'd need to make joining and reading content quick & easy.

What I was thinking for Eden's Guard is that a new player makes their character, and writes a ~500 word contribution to the current contract using a prompt, and that's how they join the unit. That way people are jumping in feet-first. Of course they still need to join via the site, but basically I'd like to see the process as simple as join forum -> make character -> write post -> accepted into unit.
