Making Lists

Hey all...

Okay, I know this can be done, but I don't know how.

I need to make lists, in columns, of NPCs but the forum here keeps killing my formatting, even when using the TAB key or using the space bar to arrange the columns. I know there are the List and List = buttons at the top when you make a post, but I am not sure how to use them properly, apparently.

Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

So basically at the front of the list you have
openbracket[ list closedbracket]
each item then needs an openbracket[ * (asterisk) closedbracket]
and at the end of the list openbracket[ / (forward slash) list closedbracket]

• Item C
• Item B
• Item Zed

For a numbered list you add an = it will default to number I think. if you have number after the = it will be numeric.:

1. 5th Item
2. 6th item
3. 7th Item
4. 9th Item
5. 10th Item

What if I am looking to make a two column list? So I can put a Mech then put the name of the MechWarrior piloting it to the right of that? I tried both Tab-ing it and using the space bar to get some separation between the two, but the system continued to smush it together.

You can try doing the format in word, than copy and paste with the [ code] [/ code] function?

Sort of how the numbers for designs get formatted nicely after being transferred from HM?

Yeah, that's sort of the best solution I can think up of since I'm not good at other codes and such.
