Updating the MHB List

Hello everyone!

Today I'm putting on my assistant MHB hat and putting this topic out for the community. We would very much like to know what designs, variants, etc that you feel should be listed on the MHB as well as which should NOT be listed and WHY. This is going to help us get the MHB rolls fixed and updated.

So now that you've read this start posting your responses!

Just wanted to add to this.

While we will try to do this as fast as we could once requests start rolling in, do give us some time.

Also, we are not that draconian that we'll force units in possession of units that are judged to be unavailable to sell them off. Still, if any MUCO decides to do so in the spirit of canon RP-ness, the MHB will refund FULL amounts of such units - subject to the REASON for said unavailability. A good example will be designs that should only be available in 3145. However, if you have bought a White Flame previously but decided that its now not your style, sorry, you won't get a full refund.

- The 'Brogan Light OmniTank' is incorrectly classified by unit type and appears on the Aerospace list.
- The canon 'Typhoon 5H' is not in the database, and appears it should be purchasable in at least the Lyran Alliance.

BATTLE OF TUKAYYID CLAN MECHS:
The following 'mechs are from the new Battle of Tukayyid sourcebook. They were refits that were either created just before the battle or cobbled together during it. However, the records of the variants remained in the databases of the Clans that created them after the Clan Invasion came to a close. I will include a note under each Megamek picture that includes which Clan was responsible for its creation. It appears that all of the Invading Clans had access to these designs, though not all Clans used them.


Created by Clan Diamond Shark, designed for use against infantry.


Designed by Clan Nova Cat, but also heavily used by Clan Steel Viper


First seen in use with Clan Smoke Jaguar, this model was used by all of the invading Clans at Tukayyid.


Created by Clan Wolf, especially the 352nd Assault Cluster. It was also seen in use by Clan Diamond Shark.


This Jade Falcon variant was created by Aidan Pryde, and made famous by him. Hero-worshipping Falcon warriors copied it afterwards.


Another Jade Falcon variant by the Falcon Guards, this one mostly remained within that cluster.


Made by the Ghost Bears as ammunition supplies dwindled. Fell out of use after the Battle, but could be revived by them or another Invading Clan.


This appears to be a joint effort between Clan Wolf and Clan Ghost Bear, and was the predecessor of the standard F configuration.

BATTLE OF TUKAYYID COMGUARD MECHS:

These refits were created by the Com Guards in preparation for the Battle of Tukayyid. It is not known if these variants remained exclusive to the Com Guards after the battle, or if these designs were shared with other forces of the 2nd SLDF. I imagine this would be up the discretion of the Staff. It is possible that they might be in the hands of surviving ComStar and Liberty Holds units.
